I was totally sad this morning to hear from one of my good friends Anner that actor Corey Haim bit the died this morning due to a possible drug overdose. I grew up watching the child actor, Lost Boys is one of my favorite movies.

The young actor struggled with drugs, on and off during his less than meager career.  He most recently was in a reality tv show which FD and I watched called "The Two Corey's" where his long time childhood friend and fellow actor Corey Feldman and his wife invite Haim into their home.  The show revolved around H. getting his life back together, helping him get his career back on track and move forward.

It's sad to see these people who grow up with fame and fortune fall into this pit of despair and have their lives ended so shortly.  Really sad.

Haim starred in such movies as (Dream a little dream, License to Drive,  Prayer of the Rollerboys and Stephen King classic Silver Bullet.)
