dinotown is closing forever!

If you've never been, never taken your kids.  This year will be your last year sadly as Dinotown, North America's only cartoon Dinosaur town will be closing its doors.

Located in Bridal Falls, a small community near Chilliwack BC.  Dinotown has been around since I was a kid.  It's a fun place to take the kids on a sunny summer afternoon and offers a variety of activities for the kids to enjoy such as : paddle boats, dino dig for treasure, train ride, dino parade and stage for musical performances, joyful celebration inflatables for some bounce fun, peddle cars, adventure playground, canoe on the lake and much more...

I'm sad they are closing.  We will most definitely be taking PB (Pickleboy) this year as he's never been and loves Dinosaurs!  I took Gamer when he was PB's age (four) and he loved the canoe ride with Nana and Papa and the train.

Drove by it on the long weekend and saw the sign "closing forever". What a fun place for the kiddies. I wonder why they are closing...

The park has been in operation since 1975 by three generations of the Ells family. They finally sold the 18 acres my guess to a developer and with money being tight it must have been a good decision financially for the family. The park has hosted 2.5 million visitors over the years and given employment to over 2000 youth. I'm sad to see it go.
