Abbotsford Police are asking anyone with information about an accident that occurred over the weekend of a police car to call police. A young male driving a black Ford pickup swiped a police cruiser at the corner of Gladwin and George Ferguson at around 3:45pm. If you know anything or have any information please call 604-859-5225
WARNING FROM SCHOOL BOARD
I read in the paper today the school board is warning about these trips companies are offering high school students at resorts and other various venues that they are NOT legitimate school board field trips and therefore should be viewed as a safety precaution as many teens have gotten into trouble. It went on to further state any field trip by the school has to approved by the school board and board of trustees and a permission slip would be sent home. So parents talk to your kids and beware of these scams!

GRAND OPENING OF MILL LAKE PARK FOR KIDS!
Thursday May 20th is the grand opening of the mill lake park for kids which has been under construction for the past several months. Every time we drove by the boys got so excited seeing the new facility being put together. The event is being held at the park from 1:30pm onwards. With free BBQ starting at 12:45 pm.
Another cell phone store is opening up in Abbey - go figure. But they are having a sale on all cell phone accessories which could be great. May 15th @ unit 102 - 1975 McCallum Road there is parking at the rear. Up to 10% off all accessories which isn't much but there will be prize draws and snacks and beverages so it could be fun!
